Hallin Bank is an old country farmhouse mostly built in the 1600s. Expect wonky walls, insects & wildlife, and ancient furniture… also wonderful views and tranquility. Windows look out towards Sleet Fell, Place Fell, Beda, High Street, and other fells.
The farmhouse sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and has two bath / shower rooms.

The main rooms
The dining room has a wood-burning stove and separate door out onto the terrace. It leads into the kitchen and living room, also with wood-burning stove. The laundry room has washer and dryer.
The bedrooms & bathrooms
The middle bedroom has a double bed. The “new” bedroom has a double bed that can be converted into two single beds, or stacked as two single beds. The “spare” bedroom has two single beds.
Outside
The lake shore is about 15 mins walk away, and there is private access to the river at the bottom of the property. The small terrace between the house and the stone garden shed is for your use. The larger, lower terrace and the long rectangular lawn is shared between The Farmhouse and The Fold. The footpath running beside the house is public. The garage and two garden sheds are not for guest use.

Please note
There are sometimes people (either myself or tradespeople) working around the property: chopping wood, planting & protecting trees, strimming, repairing walls, etc. I try to make sure that this does not happen too close to the house while guests are there, but please excuse any tradespeople who have not fully got the message.
